What can I say about this wedding day, except it was a dream come true for me! I have always wanted to photograph and Indian-English fusion wedding, and I’m so grateful I was able to finally do it! Tila and Jake are absolute gems–but before I get ahead of myself, let me start at the beginning.
Tila reached out a few months before her wedding because she wanted a photographer who used film and creative techniques. I was thrilled when she chose me for her wedding day. Tila and Jake loved artistic, experimental photos as much as traditional ones. Photos meant a lot to them, and they were excited to take as many as possible. They were truly a perfect match for me. They trusted me completely and even helped me fulfill a bucket-list goal.
I’ve always wanted to photograph a Bengali/Indian fusion wedding. I’m obsessed with the luscious, opulence and vibrant colors of Indian weddings. So the fact that Tila wanted to incorporate her Bengali heritage into her wedding day, along with Jake’s English background was a dream come true! It truly was the perfect Indian-English fusion wedding I could’ve dreamed up.
