Allie & Kev’s whimsical Norland Historic Estate wedding featured a sumptuous, deep violet and merlot color palette with overgrown florals that lent a fairy-tale vibe to their special day.
Allie & Kev’s wedding was filled with so much warmth and love from family and friends who travelled from all over to be there for them. But their story began long before they walked down the aisle. Their love story began in middle school and though they were separated for a while, through a divine twist of fate, they were brought back into each other’s lives and the rest, as they say, is history!
Their Fairytale Wedding at Norland Historic Estate
Allie and Kev are definitely romantics at heart, so it only made sense that they chose an equally romantic venue to celebrate their love story. The Norland Historic Estate, with its historic antebellum-inspired architecture, sprawling grounds and beautifully kept gardens, make for one of the best venues in the entire province. The ceremony was full of happy tears and laughter and a ton of bubbles as Allie & Kev walked back down the aisle which made for some beautiful and fun photos! Sonic Bloom Studio went above and beyond creating a gorgeous indoor garden in the Norland ballroom, complete with a beautiful canopy of wisteria above Allie & Kev’s sweetheart table, and ground candles creating a soft glow throughout the room.
Every detail was thoughtfully planned and styled to reflect Allie’s love of butterflies and shades of purple as well as Kev’s fun-loving sense of humor and love of impeccably tailored menswear. Not even the sudden downpour could mute these two and their happiness! Thankfully the sun made an appearance and we were able to get some beautiful golden hour photos.
Congratulations A + K! Thank you for letting me be apart of your special day!
