let's talk moodboards! Why you see them everywhere on Pinterest, and why you need one customized for you and your wedding day vision.
First off, what is a moodboard?

A moodboard is a visual representation for what you want your wedding day to be like. For me, the best part about having a moodboard is knowing that not only do I have an idea as to what the wedding day will look like, (bohemian, shabby chic, elegant, organic, whimsical etc) it also helps my brides know what direction they want to go for wedding day design & planning!

This editorial shot at the Pioneer on 8th in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is luxurious, sumptuous and ethereal, complete with a lush floral installation blossoming out of a grand piano. Our vision was to gather some of the most talented wedding vendors from the Calgary area to create a stunning scene of Parisian opulence infused with […]

What can I say about this wedding day, except it was a dream come true for me! Tila and Jake are absolute gems–but before I get ahead of myself, let me start at the beginning. Tila reached out to me a few months before her big day to let me know she was on the […]

It’s not everyday you get to photograph a beautiful styled editorial at one of your bucket list venues, but this was definitely one of those times! When Staci of Little Daisy Florals told me that she wanted to put on a last minute styled shoot at the Deane House & asked me to photograph it, […]

I had the incredible opportunity to go back to the Norland Historic Estate to photograph this beautiful workshop in lavender & sweet pea pinks. The Norland Historic Estate is one of my favorite buildings in Alberta, and I wish we had more gorgeous, historic architecture in this province. My home state of Georgia has some […]

I had the enormous opportunity to participate in a sleek, sexy, modern styled photoshoot at an airplane hangar with some amazingly talented people including Elizabeth from Olive & Co Weddings. Usually you can find me at any styled shoot with fine art, delicate, feminine details, but I loved how unique of a concept this particular […]

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here on the blog! But I had to share this gorgeous editorial I photographed last November with Christina Polischuk which just got featured on La Vie Est Belle Journal today! This Korean bridal inspired shoot was all Christina’s (our hair and makeup artist) idea. These are her […]

Jillian and Chase finally tied the knot! They did a two day celebration in Waterton, Cardston and then ending with their reception in Calgary. It was definitely a beautiful, loved-filled weekend. Jillian decided to do a first look with Chase near Waterton, even though it was SO windy and cold, it was as if neither […]

(And why you should plan your mountain wedding in Waterton) When Rebekah of Bronte Bride said she was going to be doing a sunrise styled shoot just outside of Waterton, I knew I had to be apart of it! Even though it was SUPERRRR early in the morning, as well as being windy and cold […]

I was enormously fortunate to collaborate with some amazing vendors for this styled shoot located at Ridge Meadows. I reached out to the incredibly talented sister team at CNC Event Design with the idea of doing a Lady of Shalott bridal inspiration shoot. I always had the idea of doing a romantic, Middle Ages inspired […]

Cassidy found me through Zoe! (Do you see why I love my brides so much? They’re all SO sweet and they all refer me to their friends who are just as sweet as they are!) From the moment I met Cassidy and Spencer, I was struck by not only the love they had for each […]
