K + R’s wedding was an elegant, classic garden summer wedding at the beautiful Coutt’s Centre in Nanton, Alberta. Which is probably one of my favorite venues by Calgary! Because of the natural beauty at the Coutt’s Centre, it really doesn’t take much to decorate it, which is why K + R decided to keep things simple, yet gorgeous with white florals and sage green & gold accents.

Both of K + R come from a strong religious background & their entire ceremony was centered on their faith (which are my fav weddings to photograph, but it makes it hard for me not to cry while I’m shooting!)

I may have cried… ahem… several times during their vows, and both of them spoke in their native language of Spanish/Portuguese so I was able to understand all of it! (For any curious about me, I lived in Brazil for a year and a half and absolutely love to speak Portuguese whenever I can!)

I love couples who incorporate their traditions and cultures into their wedding and K + R were not only true to themselves, & had a gorgeous wedding, but both of them were SO SWEET they nearly gave me a toothache 😉

It was a privilege and an honor to photograph their union & I know they’ll have many many happy years to come!
