Lady of Shalott Inspiration Shoot

I was enormously fortunate to collaborate with some amazing vendors for this styled shoot located at Ridge Meadows. I reached out to the incredibly talented sister team at CNC Event Design with the idea of doing a Lady of Shalott bridal inspiration shoot. I always had the idea of doing a romantic, Middle Ages inspired photoshoot with the incomparable Alfred Lord Tennyson and John William Waterhouse as inspiration.

I’ve always adored the visceral, haunting poem by Tennyson, and have been greatly influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite art of Waterhouse in my photography. Combining these two muses, with the help of Creative Edge Flowers, Modern Rentals, Modern Bake, Makeup By Mylynn, Ateliers Simone Martin, CNC Event Design and Jocelyn Chugg (our classically beautiful model), everything came together more beautifully than I could ever have imagined.
